20 Years of Gratitude

What’s your 20? A slang phrase borrowed from policing—asking where someone is, what they’re facing, what’s right in front of them. It’s a loaded question right now, especially as I live in the Minneapolis area, studying events unfolding daily in my backyard. As a crisis strategist, my 20 carries many layers—from helping clients navigate complex moments with clarity and care, to making sure the people I love feel supported and grounded. This month also carries deep meaning and gratitude as Roshini Multi Media marks 20 years in business.

As we grow our collective 20 in Minneapolis and in the United States to a place of peace and lawfulness, I hold immense gratitude for the lessons, opportunities, friendships, and fun these twenty years represent.

Many people and brands to thank for helping me and my team arrive at this milestone. I’ll do my best to share personal and public shout-outs across my platforms in the coming weeks. For now, a few quick ones: I think of my late mother Concy, who expressed enthusiasm for me and my vision–even if she didn’t always understand it. One symbol of this was in 2010 when the first edition of my book came out. She made me promise she could buy the first one. My brother Roshan for unwavering support and generosity. My amazing friends for cheering me and lifting me when needed.

BIG gratitude to special clients: Whether my first consulting clients Dan Monskey and attorney Rick Morgan or the first deposit into my business account from Hubbard Broadcasting for fill-in radio hosting on My Talk 107, each step mattered. Each client who let this entrepreneur through their doors for executive coaching, professional speaking, or crisis strategy was a building block long before we could see 20 years.

To partners on The Crisis Files podcast. From big brands to business owners, I am grateful. A special word to Jill Renslow of Mall of America for years of backing my show into the current Season 4. Words cannot express my gratitude. The live event in 2025 at MOA’s Rotunda is hard to forget.

To my team members–past and current. Huge thanks to the small but mighty group that helps this ship go full steam ahead. Cheers to the dreamers and the curators and the builders. May you celebrate the people who help you arrive at your milestones.
