Guest Blog: Good Video

Let me introduce Audio-Video-Man Extraordinaire, Karl Demer, of Atomic K Productions. His wise words should help you understand the power of the picture.

Video…correction, GOOD video, can be a tremendous asset to the marketing and promotion of any company. Poorly done video can equally impact you and your clients in a negative way. Good doesn’t necessarily mean expensive. Sometimes simpler is better. Clean, well-shot, nicely-lit video with good audio best conveys the message that you care about your brand and your clients.

Like any other form of sales, video is about relationship building. Video is an introduction to the goods and services you provide. Hit the highlights. Showcase just enough to peak the interest of your targets. Leave them wanting more. For Web videos, I suggest you use an overview video and then segment additional details into bite-size pieces that customers can consume at their own pace.
